Update entry requirements Brazil

COVID Update

Over 75% of the entire Brazilian population has been fully vaccinated, a remarkable feat! Brazil welcomes international travellers and virtually all destinations and tourist attractions are open to visitation. Covid testing is no longer required for fully vaccinated international travellers (for those from 12 years of age and having received at least 2 doses, or 1 in case of the Janssen vaccine). The Traveller Health Declaration is also no longer required. Unvaccinated or partially vaccinated travellers are only granted entry if they are able to present a medically attested exemption on paper. In this case, they will need to present a negative PCR (no more than 72 hours) or antigen test (no more than 24 hours) prior to boarding. Unvaccinated or partially vaccinated children between the ages of 2 and 11 are also required to present a negative Covid test.

When travelling about in Brazil, keep your (printed) certificates and ID close at hand as several destinations, attractions, hotels and restaurants may want to see proof of vaccination before granting access. Please note that the above reflects the current situation. Some countries require travellers to present an internationally recognized negative PCR or antigen test result prior to the return flight. Testing locations are readily available in virtually all destinations and at most major airports. We are happy to offer assistance if necessary.
