​It´s immense pool reflects a blue color during the time that the sunlight shines directly on the water, giving an amazing blue effect, being one of the main cards of the Chapada Diamantina. To reach the pool we must go down on ladder with some obstacles on the way. This way down is around 160 metres from the car parking. After this visit, we drive for 1 hour until the Paraguassú River, where we park the car and cross the river. We must walk for 200 metres to reach the Blue Pool area, where we take a shower to clean the body from fats that can cause environment impact. We must go down 60m inside the cave to see it´s pool, where we can swim for 15 minutes.

Best time to visit: between April and September, when the sunlight shines straight in the water
