​Inhotim is a vast museum complex set within a botanical garden and spread across several pavilions. Its focus lies on contemporary art and environmental issues, as well as on research and education related to these two themes. The combination of art and botany makes it an exceptional place for knowledge creation and exchange. The tropical park was partially designed according to the principles of the renowned landscape architect Roberto Burle Marx. The immense richness of its flora makes Inhotim one of the largest botanical collections in the world. Visitors can find rare tropical plant species and a forest reserve that forms part of the Atlantic Forest biome.
