This full-day city tour provides an introduction to the main attractions of Florianópolis. The excursion begins in the Historic Centre, founded in the late 17th century and home to many of the city’s most important landmarks. Starting on foot, the tour visits Largo da Alfândega, a broad public square dominated by the former neoclassical customs house and the bustling Municipal Market, before continuing to the Metropolitan Cathedral and Praça XV de Novembro with its vast, century-old fig tree. A photo stop follows at the viewpoint near the Hercílio Luz Bridge, offering panoramic views of the bridge, the city, surrounding bays and distant mountains.

The itinerary then continues along Avenida Beira-Mar Norte, one of the most striking urban waterfronts in southern Brazil, before heading east across the island. Stops are made at the viewpoint overlooking Lagoa da Conceição (lagoon) and at Joaquina Beach on the Atlantic coast, famed for its dunes and powerful surf. Lunch is taken at Barra da Lagoa, a traditional fishing community, where visitors can enjoy local cuisine, with seafood as the speciality.
