In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, Brazil’s tourism sector has taken a hands-on approach to ensuring visitor safety with the launching of the Clean & Safe Responsible Tourism certificate.

Most of our suppliers (including ourselves) have taken the protocols to heart and are now fully certified. The certificate, comes with [adherence to] clear and specific protocols for hotels, service providers, guides, restaurants, and attractions – and of course, for the tourists themselves! COVID Update

Over 80% of the entire Brazilian population has been fully vaccinated, a remarkable feat! Brazil welcomes international travellers and virtually all destinations and tourist attractions are open to visitation.

Brazilian or foreign visitors entering Brazil no longer need to present proof of vaccination or a negative COVID-19 test. The National Health Surveillance Agency (Anvisa) has revoked the two regulations issued during the pandemic with sanitary measures for the entry of foreigners into the country.

In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, Brazil’s Ministry of Tourism has taken a hands-on approach to ensuring visitor safety with the launching of the Clean & Safe Responsible Tourism certificate, which is based on sector-specific hygiene protocols that ensure passenger and staff safety. All protocols are in line with WHO recommendations and are meant to create a nation-wide standard and streamline preventative measures. All suppliers listed on our website that have joined the initiative are indicated with the respective stamp on our website. Participation in this initiative is optional and certain suppliers may have opted not to pursue the certificate. This does not mean that they don’t uphold health and safety measures. In order to remain operational, all establishments are required to comply with local health and safety regulations.
