LOCALIZA AND HERTZ JOIN FORCES
In September 2017, Hertz sold its Brazil car rental and leasing operations to Localiza. With branches in seven countries, Localiza is the largest car rental network in South America. Both companies have signed a brand cooperation agreement, giving rise to a new name: Localiza Hertz. The alliance not only involves expansion of Localizas fleet but also the sharing of technological and operational knowledge, bringing about enhanced customer service across the country.
The first few months of the partnership have led to visible improvements for our clients. The number of car rental and service points have increased and with nine category C and six category F vehicle types, clients now have a much wider range choice of vehicles.
