Surfing is an integral part of Brazil’s beach culture, and this activity provides a chance to take to the waves at one of Búzios’ best-known surfing locations. With its long stretch of sand, open sea and waves that attract surfers throughout the year, Geribá Beach is an ideal setting for getting out on the water and learning the basics of the sport.

The lesson begins on the beach with stretching and an introduction to the principles of surfing before participants enter the water accompanied by an experienced instructor. Surfboards are provided, allowing participants to practise in the sea what they have learned on shore.
