This full-day tour by boat and motorised canoe reaches the mouth of the Guamá and Acará rivers and explores their tributaries, creeks and streams. Along the way, the boat passes typical riverside houses built on stilts, whilst a stop at Boa Vista do Acará will give visitors a chance to take a walk in the rainforest for a closer look at some of Brazil’s most famous trees: the Brazil nut and rubber trees. An expert local guide provides explanations of the flora and fauna encountered, opening the tourist’s eyes to aspects of the forest which would otherwise escape their attention. Lunch is served on the riverside or at a rustic restaurant en route.
