Hike the Mamangua Sugarloaf peak for the best panoramic views of the region. The Saco do Mamanguá, Brazil’s only tropical fjord, is a unique marine ecosystem and tropical paradise located on the nearby Juatinga Peninsular Eco-reserve. On this small-group tour, you catch a fastboat from the pier in Paraty to Mamanguá Bay. It´s an intense hike up the Mamanguá Sugarloaf Peak (425m) with your local guide for incredible views of the bays and the Rainforest covered mountainsides. On the way back you stop at a lovely sandy beach where there is time for a swim to cool off after the sweaty hike. We also recommend you try the delicious fresh fish, rice beans and salad at our favourite beach kiosk. This is a great day out for people looking to get off the beaten track for the best views!
