This tour takes you behind the scenes of Brazil’s most famous carnival. At a large warehouse that operates as the headquarters of one of Rio’s leading Samba Schools, visitors will see how the extravagant floats and glamourous costumes of the fascinating carnival parades are made. Participants will also learn more about the history of carnival celebrations in Rio and even get to try on some of the fabulous carnival costumes, while enjoying a delicious caipirinha.

In partnership with companies from the local community, the organisation has developed a range of artistic and cultural activities to create learning and growth opportunities for hundreds of children and teenagers. The main goal of this project is to bring local youngsters into the culture industry by structuring their development as professionals in the fields of production, dance, music, visual arts, beauty and foreign languages.
